PS... NOT just for Spring Interns

Hey guys I've had 5-10 peeps saying that people are only asking for spring interns on Ed2010.... but that doesn't mean you can't e-mail them! E-mail them and ask when they are looking for summer interns. This way, they already know who you are, you have their contact info, and you will be the first to apply when they are looking for summer ones!
Plus, a lot of people don't advertise for summer interns because most of the positions are already filled by the time spring comes around... I PROMISE people are already interviewing, even if they don't say so on Ed2010!
Good Luck!

Ash, can I call you Ash? Well this whole world is somewhat new to me though I must say, I have been doing my homework. I am starting an internship very soon and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to get some experience under my belt and prepare to get jobs, hopefully sooner then I am expecting. Do you really think sending stuff in now for summer internships is a good idea? I have an ideal mag I would loathe to work at, should I research to try and see whats up?

yes, definitely research it, and in a non pesky way, find out from someone who works there if they are starting to look for summer interns. And if not, ask them when you can send in your stuff, and to who. that way they know to expect your resume and info later on! good luck!
